While living in Aspen I discovered Scuba Diving as a way to
explore yet another fascinating world. My passion for Scuba
Diving included underwater photography long before the digital
age. As a Master Scuba Diver / Rescue Diver with 300 logged
dives I explored many beautiful areas of the world including
Hawaii, South Pacific, Micronesia and the Caribbean.
Besides
photography I have been intrigued with computers since purchasing
my first Mac in 1984. The digital revolution and Internet have
opened many opportunities to share my passions with others.
As a member of Canon Professional Services and the North American
Nature Photography Association I am active on many photo critique
forums. This allows me to share my work while I continue to
improve my photographic skills.
My
youth gave me a passion for the outdoors, the Marine Corps gave
me the knowledge of stealth, patients and determination. Both
have blended to give me the ability and skills to get close
to the wildlife I love to photograph. I have taken part in open
water, no cage shark dives in the South Pacific and I have come
eye to eye with eagles, hawks, coyotes and bobcats.
Along
with my passion for wildlife I also photograph action sports
and have had the privilege of credentials to shoot the Worlds
Oldest Rodeo and SkyFest Air Show. Future photographic travels
will probably include Alaskan Brown Bears and an African Photo
Safari.
